About
Accomplished political and labor organizer and communications strategist with deep experience driving successful union campaigns, large-scale voter mobilization, and coalition building. Currently serving as Political Field Director for the Maryland State and D.C. AFL-CIO, where I oversee statewide political programs, coordinate GOTV, phone banking, texting, and worksite outreach with Central Labor Councils and union locals, ensure compliance with election laws, and lead trainings for volunteers and zone captains. Previously, as an Organizer with UFCW Local 27 and the International Union, I led three successful union organizing drives in healthcare, therapy, and coffee shop workplaces and built organizing committees from the ground up. I also negotiated a first union contract at Progressive Maryland that eliminated pay disparities and secured new staff protections. My communications background includes serving as Public Information Officer for the City of Baltimore, managing a successful City Council campaign’s digital and media strategy, co-founding a digital news outlet as Editor-in-Chief, and advising nonprofits and small businesses through my own consultancy. I’m highly proficient with tools like VAN, EveryAction, Mobilize, Scale to Win, Spoke, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack, and I bring a rare blend of field organizing grit and polished media and messaging skill. My current appointment ends November 30, 2026; I am available to begin a new role on December 1, 2026, and can provide two weeks’ notice if an earlier start is needed.
