About
I am an experienced attorney with ten years of experience working in civil society and private practice on anti-corruption and good government policy development and advocacy. I'm also a passionate advocate with extensive experience writing for publication in national newspapers and news websites, including the Washington Post, CNN, MSNOW, The Hill, Just Security, and more.
I specialize in financial anti-corruption--including developing laws and regulations to stop dirty and opaque cash flows in the United States and internationally--and good government and democracy policy. I've worked in private practice doing financial regulation in New York, but have spent most of my career within the democracy reform ecosystem, serving in various capacities at various organizations working with Congress and the executive branch to design policies regulating cryptocurrency and digital assets, stopping Congressional stock trading, improving government ethics, and expanding public transparency into the workings of American democracy. I've helped design various pieces of major anti-corruption legislation, including the Corporate Transparency Act, the Foreign Extortion Prevention Act, and I've worked with stakeholders to develop the regulatory regimes to implement these and other anti-corruption laws.
