The Role

Unite America is looking for bright, game-changing interns who are passionate about reforming our broken politics. We are looking for current students to join our team from a variety of academic disciplines. Work side-by-side with our dynamic staff and learn from those on the front lines of the movement bridging the partisan divide. We support campaigns across the country with passing election reforms and building momentum towards a more functional and representative government.

We’re currently seeking at least one intern to join Unite America’s Campaigns team for Spring 2025 for an average of 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility on when those hours may occur.

Responsibilities

• Join coalition and/or partner check-in calls; take notes and debrief with Unite America staff members.
• Design and regularly update a briefer on the status of key campaigns.
• Evaluate legislation in various states and identify supporters/opponents of specific policies.
• Update internal documents with election outcomes and legislative progress.
• Track state-specific media hits and articles related to election reform.
