Relaunched in 2019, Unite America and its 30+ person team has grown to be a leader in the election reform movement. Over the past five years, we have mobilized $70+ million dollars from a cross-partisan community of philanthropists to achieve dozens of policy victories across the country.

We aim to accomplish our goals in three ways:

• We Put Voters First: Unite America invests in party-neutral changes to the way we vote that puts voters first and produces more accountability, better representation and better results.
  
• We are focused on solving the Primary Problem: Specifically, we are focused on solving how partisan primaries disenfranchise voters and disincentivize our leaders from solving problems.
• We are building the premier cross-partisan community of philanthropists: Our team sources, diligences, and recommends investment opportunities, and adds significant value to our partners through hands-on support and shared infrastructure

Recent victories where we played a leading or a major supporting role to win: a major anti-gerrymandering campaign in Virginia; a first-of-its-kind top-four nonpartisan primary system in Alaska, and a ballot initiative in Nevada to implement Alaska-style reforms in that state. At Unite America, we are working to build a more representative and functional government that puts voters first and reflects the diversity of our country, and an inclusive democracy in which leaders embrace problem-solving over fueling divisiveness.
