About Working at PACE We’re living through a period of American democracy where many of our deepest issues and injustices are at the surface. With that comes both challenge and opportunity. At PACE we take both head-on, grappling with what’s difficult in order to contribute to what’s possible. And we try to have some fun and make it interesting in the process. Each member of the PACE team supports this, playing a central role in bringing to life the conversations, convenings, and impact that we advance together. We have a hard-working, fun-loving, and thoughtful culture with a high attention to detail, quality, and relationships. We move frequently between deep learning/reflection and urgent action/projects, and successful candidates will have the ability to balance those two gears. Core Hours We believe that delivering consistently top-notch work requires flexibility, especially as more people work remotely and strive to find balance in their lives. As such, we maintain “core hours” of 12:00-4:00 PM Eastern, during which we expect all team members to be available for collaborative work time and calls; outside of those hours, everyone manages their own schedule to fulfill their responsibilities. Professional Development PACE is deeply committed to your professional development. We have a budget for staff to attend conferences/trainings/courses, we engage with inspiring field leaders that are wonderful to connect with and learn from (with potential for mentoring and networking), and we provide paid time off for volunteering and community engagement. We’re committed to helping you level-up your skills, knowledge, and network beyond what you gain doing the job itself. Benefits and Salary The salary for the position is up to $55,000, with consideration for annual increases and potential for growth and promotion with the organization over time. Benefits package includes employer contribution to an insurance plan (health/dental/vision, disability, and life), generous paid leave and holiday policy, and employer IRA match up to 3% of salary. We also offer a monthly stipend for cell phone and internet service. Equal Opportunity Employer PACE is committed to creating an inclusive work environment and centering racial equity in our daily practices. Contributing to a strong and thriving democracy requires that diversity be a core component of our work to ensure all voices are included. PACE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and encourages applicants of all races, religions, gender identities or expressions, familial statuses, sexual orientations, ages, disabilities, and other protected statuses to apply. For the team at PACE this isn’t simply a statement; it is an opportunity to live out our values. Application Process Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled; interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
