Organizing for Impact, a premier recruitment firm, is seeking dynamic and adaptable independent contractors to work as Field Organizers at all levels—from entry-level to experienced operatives—to be placed on impactful campaigns and programs across the country.

As a Field Organizer, you will play a crucial role in establishing and expanding canvass offices, launching effective canvassing operations, and ensuring accountability through meticulous data monitoring. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of change, directly contributing to the success of campaigns that drive positive social and political progress.

Organizers work in teams of 2-4 to manage the day-to-day operations of field canvass offices around the country. Daily responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, and training paid canvassing staff, maintaining quality control and managing the logistics of a canvass, working with administrative teams to ensure smooth operations, and accurately reporting on progress to goal.

If you’re driven, resilient, and ready to create meaningful impact, let Organizing for Impact connect you with opportunities to help build a brighter future for all.

At Organizing for Impact, we are passionate about driving positive change through impactful campaigns. We specialize in recruiting and empowering field organizers who are on the front lines of political and outreach campaigns, progressive issue movements, and government service initiatives.

Our team thrives on the dynamic nature of campaign work, embracing both its intensity and the unique challenges it presents. We believe in the power of grassroots organizing and person-to-person outreach to create meaningful change, whether by launching canvass offices, registering new voters, or advocating for important issues. Each day brings fresh opportunities to make a difference and advance our shared goals.

We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where camaraderie and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. Our culture values grit, creativity, and a shared commitment to our mission. We know that the work can be demanding, but it's also incredibly rewarding.

If you're looking for an opportunity that merges purpose with passion, and where challenges are met with determination and innovation, join us. Together, we can build a brighter future for all.

  4. Implement data-driven strategies to track and analyze campaign progress, voter engagement, and canvasser performance. Ensure accountability and optimization based on data insights.
  5. Build relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and local organizations to foster support and collaboration for the campaign.
  6. Effectively communicate campaign goals, messaging, and updates to senior staff daily.
  7. Travel – potentially extensively – to varying locations, spending extended periods (months) to independently oversee campaign operations and drive engagement.
  8. Supervise and support canvassers, office staff, and supervisors, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.
  9. Onboard and accurately track canvasser hours worked; work with administrative team to ensure timely compensation of canvassers
