About New Politics:
Now, more than ever, we need leaders committed to putting country before party, and service before self. Republican or Democrat, our democracy, and our country, desperately need our best leaders running for office – ones who forged their skills serving the country – to restore faith and trust throughout our politics.
New Politics was founded in 2013 to transform government by recruiting, developing, and electing servant leaders with the highest caliber of integrity, courage, and empathy. At a time when the number of service veterans in Congress is at an all-time low, New Politics is working to help servant leaders overcome the traditional barriers to entering the political arena.
New Politics recruits, develops, incubates, elects, and advises candidates and their campaigns. We are there to support our candidates throughout the entirety of their journey. In the last three cycles, we have helped 164 campaigns across eight levels of government, winning 122 primary and 75 general elections on both sides of the aisle.
Our Need:
We are looking for a Director of Political Talent Management to continue to strengthen our “service to politics” movement by supporting the political leadership development of members in our community. They will identify, support, and guide the next generation of servant leaders into the political arena to run for office, work on campaigns, serve in their local political communities, or work for elected leaders. They will also manage the engagement of our ecosystem in collaborating with other departments to further support our organizational goals around fundraising, sharing our message, or recruiting additional servant leaders to join the movement.

- Build community and support relationship building within the ecosystem
Track and manage the ecosystem of servant leaders in various stages of their political leadership journey
- Create systems and processes for tracking servant leaders who join our ecosystem whether through programming, referral, recommendation, or those self-identifying to the organization
- Utilize data for identifying and supporting servant leaders in their journey and/or furthering other organizational goals
- Collaborate with other Departments and leverage the servant leader community on shared goals for fundraising, recruitment, and communications
Manage and highlight Talent within the ecosystem
- Work with the campaign department to identify talent for political opportunities that can arise in future election cycles for candidates, campaign staff, etc.
Engage and Develop Leaders
- Create and support individualized journeys for servant leaders to best meet their needs
- Collaborate with the Program Department on designing programming to meet the needs of service leaders on their political journeys
- Create opportunities for ongoing learning and connection for servant leaders who have attended programming and are advancing in their journeys in the political arena
