THE OPPORTUNITY: Leadership Now is seeking full-time fellows who are recent MBA graduates or have equivalent experience (3+ years experience in consulting, finance, tech, product management or similar fields). MBA Fellows are 3-month - 1-year positions and may be considered for full-time employment at the end of the fellowship.

Fellows will play a critical role in fueling the growth of our innovative membership organization devoted to tackling some of our nation’s greatest challenges. We are looking for fellows with interest and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Strategy and Innovation
• Data & Investment Analysis
• Data-Driven Operations Management
• Customer-Driven Product Design & Customer Engagement

WHO WE ARE: The Leadership Now Project is a membership organization of business and thought leaders who are committed to high-impact solutions to renew American democracy. We achieve lasting impact by first data-driven identification of threats to and opportunities for democracy and mobilizing our members and partners for action. Leadership Now has four guiding principles that transcend political parties: to protect democracy while renewing it; to promote fact and evidence-based policymaking; to create an economy that works for all, and to embrace diversity as an asset. Incubated in 2017 by a group of Harvard Business School alumni, Leadership Now activates the resources, networks, and skills of our members. Today, Leadership Now has chapters in six states and members in 30 states and continues to grow.

KEY PROJECTS / RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Conduct rigorous market landscape, screen potential investments and track progress.
• Design systems and technology to support the growth of membership and impact
• Analysis of customer and market needs and differentiation, support updates of product design to reflect those conditions
• Support the creation of project materials such as one-pagers, PPTs, and marketing materials.
• Interface with members and partners to support strategy execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed an MBA or equivalent work experience
• Passionate about democracy and improving our political system
• Experience with project management tools such as Airtable, Trello, or other Kanbans
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets to manipulate large datasets and build models
• Experience with memo writing, editing, proofreading
• Social media experience is a plus
• Able to listen to ideas and feedback to produce deliverables
