KEY PROJECTS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Written Content
Own the strategy and execution of the brand’s social media channels, primarily LinkedIn
Create regular content for all channels (email, website, social, etc.)
Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with the organization’s tone and mission.
Help create and manage the editorial calendar and written guidelines
Listen and engage in relevant online discussions about the organization and/or democracy
Visual Design
Design videos, graphics, presentations, promo materials, etc. using software like Canva or Photoshop
Create templates for the team to be more efficient in their efforts (ie. event promotion)
Maintain a digital brand library and all website assets
Additional Responsibilities
Stay up-to-date with the latest news and issues impacting our members
Provide analytics reports on the performance of digital and social channels
Proactively present new ideas to improve communications
Collaborate with senior management and other teammates
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent work experience
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-focused culture
- Highly communicative with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders
- Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and/or Squarespace a plus
