Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate individual to join our team as a TikTok Content Creator Fellow. As a Fellow, you will have the unique opportunity to use your creative talents to develop engaging and impactful content for our TikTok platform. Through short-form videos, you will play a vital role in shaping how users perceive and interact with democracy, politics, and social issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, script, and produce compelling TikTok videos that inform, entertain, and inspire a diverse audience.

Collaborate with the communications and digital team to align content with organizational goals and messaging.

Stay up-to-date with current events, political developments, and social issues to create timely and relevant content.

Engage with the TikTok community by responding to comments, fostering discussions, and building a positive online community.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in creating engaging and shareable content for TikTok or other social media platforms.

Strong understanding of TikTok trends, culture, and best practices.

Passion for civic engagement, democracy, and social issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and take direction while also showing initiative and creativity.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of video editing tools and software is a plus.

Duration and Compensation:

This fellowship position is a 6-month commitment, with the possibility of extension. The fellow will receive a stipend of $1,200 per month.
