Our Organization

Citizen Data provides actionable data and research to organizations working to protect and strengthen American democracy. Founded in 2019, Citizen’s team of data scientists, analysts, and strategists is dedicated to equipping leaders and organizations with the best-in-class insights and products they need to unite Americans, bridge divides, and advance meaningful change.

Over the last couple years, Citizen has worked with partner organizations to curate a cross-partisan voting constituency for Ballot Measure 2 in Alaska — an unprecedented democracy reform — and worked with election administrators in 8 key states to adapt their operating models to a presidential election executed during a pandemic. More recently, we’ve expanded our reach within the pro-democracy space, partnering with more than 75 aligned organizations who leveraged our data into strategy and action across 35 states.

Our greatest strength as a company is the team building it. As we build a nonpartisan platform for the long-term with partners who benefit from an open ecosystem of research and strategic support, we are committed to growing a team that reflects the rich diversity of this country.
